“We love to entertain at teatime because it’s a short, fun event, and we still have an evening left. We’ve had tea parties where we did all the work ourselves, at our local tea house, and at the famous Windsor Arms tearoom – and none of them was as easy and enjoyable as having Laura do the catering. Her sandwiches were perfect and the tea was top-quality, hot and ready all afternoon. She handled a last-minute addition to the menu with grace, when a promised delivery of home-baked shortbreads was cancelled. The guest of honour was enchanted with the teapot-shaped birthday cake, too. I will definitely call Laura for our next afternoon event, so I can enjoy my own party again."

A Tea Party? Highly recommended – Laura was fantastic!!! In December of 2005, I wondered what I could do to get my friends all together in one location; you see a lot of us have moved around due to our careers and differences in outside interests.  I saw Laura’s web site and thought “What a different idea”.

The menu was excellent – sandwiches, hot items, desserts, and not knowing what I should serve, Laura helped out immensely.  We chose a good variety of finger sandwiches, cakes, cookies, tarts, hot items and of course the TEA – wow what a variety.
Invitations were sent out to 15 of my friends, of which all attended the TEA. 
Laura arrived the day of in all her glory, with food, tea, dishes, and cloth napkins, can you imagine cloth napkins – this really was a treat.  I did not have to do a thing, all was provided for this event, right down to the serving plates, cups/saucers, tableware and dressings, and I have to tell you these were high quality china, silverware, crystal and linens. 
Everything was set and ready to go – my guests arrived and were delighted with the get-together of friends they hadn’t seen in more than a year.  It was fun to hear them  praising Laura for the excellent spread she put on, you could hear some of them with their delight and amazement “wow this is real Devonshire Cream”, “Oh these sandwiches are heavenly”, “Here, come and try this one”, and on and on.  I guess that is something you just do not find too much any more, so it was wonderful to see that I had pulled off a great Sunday afternoon event, and I didn’t have to do a thing!!!!!!!
Laura also provided Tarot card readings for each of us, what a laugh we had. 
Thanks Laura for making this Christmas a special one that I will remember for a very long time.
